Web Page Performance

When designing a web page, useability and performance should not be overlooked. Cumbersome navigation and slow pages are very frustrating for the user.

In Chrome you can test a site with Lighthouse (Developer Tools) or for a public page you can check out: PageSpeedInsights by Google.

Particular attention needs to be paid to the headers of the HTML files, in order to ensure minimal downloads of assets needed to build the page. These assets include font stylesheets, search engine optimization (SEO) tags, favorite icon, JavaScript code, and more.
